Our first prototype DRC suit was produced for Riley (jays son) when he turned just 4 years old back in 2015, this was a trial and error process based off the knowledge gained working in the motorcycle kit industry for a number of years and our initial product was part leather and part Cordura, a long way from the style of suits you see today, from here on & over the next 2 years whilst Riley was riding we evolved and developed his suits as he took part in the Bambino class in his 1st season with race wins and taking overall the BMB championship in 2017 ,the paddocks other riders and parents saw Riley's suit and the demand started from this point. Our kids suits over time then progressed in terms of protection and comfort, layout and overall look to follow on from the kit the children see there idols wearing at GP level today and DRC as a brand was born
After increasing popularity in the youth classes of minibike and pitbike racing in the UK we slowly started our climb into the adult market and we haven't stopped since.
Now DRC leathers can be found in almost every paddock in the World , with a huge presence in the British club racing and British superbike paddocks with our #drcarmy supported riders as well as selected paddocks across the globe including BSB, CIV,ETC,ESBK,CEV and the World Superbike paddock we keep constantly striving to provide the best protection possible.
